Challenge: Stellar Corp. aimed to enhance their team's strategic thinking, resource allocation skills, and collaborative problem-solving in a fun, immersive environment. They needed a game that could simulate complex decision-making under pressure, reflecting real-world business scenarios without being overtly "corporate". The goal was to improve team synergy and foster innovative solutions to challenges.
Solution: Boardlithatum designed "Galaxy Explorers," a medium-complexity board game where 2-4 teams compete to establish and expand their galactic empires. Players manage unique alien species, discover new planets, mine rare resources, research advanced technologies, and navigate interstellar political landscapes. The game features modular board elements, unique faction abilities, and a dynamic event system that keeps every play-through fresh and challenging. The mechanics were carefully balanced to encourage both individual strategic prowess and essential team communication.
Outcome: The game was a resounding success within Stellar Corp.'s training programs.
